Pediatric Surgery Clinic
This 6,000 square foot suite of exam rooms and offices for the Pediatric Surgery group was designed on a limited budget, but was extremely successful in meeting the goal of a warm, inviting atmosphere for children.  The project was cited with a BSA design award. Larger programmatic requirements and crowded existing conditions called for the expanse of the pediatric space to encompass the entire floor.  One challenge of the design took shape in how to convert the double-loaded corridor standard throughout the building into two distinct areas with a more spacious open plan.
