North Suburban YMCA
Two additions housing a pool, fitness, and multipurpose space and the complete rehab of the existing facility provide members with a 45,000 square foot facility updated to expand programs and provide full accessibility. The new recreation pool is ramped for use by small children as well as the physically challenged. The 7,000 Wellness Center has spacious daylit cardio, strength, and free weight areas. A large multipurpose studio with cushioned flooring serves a variety of classes, while separate smaller studios are used for rock climbing and other more focused classes. Along with the 4 large locker rooms, 3 individual changing rooms provide shower facilities for families or those with special needs.
