Boston College, Lyons Hall
Sleek glass doors in the arched openings replaced the heavy wooden entry doors of this original neogothic quadrangle building on the Boston College campus. New lighting and pale maple brightened the lobby, with curved paneling reflecting the arched openings. The large new counter in the Student Services Center can accommodate as many as five students at a time, while a more private area provides offices for financial aid counseling. The renovation also included a records area, office space for technical staff and systems management on an upper floor, and upgraded support functions for the building.
